Case Description
In the Vladimir region in 2023, a 19-year-old resident of Moscow, Kirill Fomichyov, was detained, the exact date of detention is unknown. First he was accused of intentional destruction of property by a generally dangerous method, then the charge was reclassified to committing a terrorist act causing serious consequences, as part of a group of persons. Details of the charges are also unknown. The court chose a measure of restraint for the defendant in the form of detention. In January 2025, the man was once again punished more severely - an article on cooperation on a confidential basis with a Ukrainian organization was added. On April 10, 2025, the 2nd Western Military District Court found Kirill Fomichev guilty and sentenced him to 15 years in a strict regime colony with a fine of 300 thousand." roubles and with a restriction of freedom for 2 years after serving the sentence. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
