Case Description
In February 2024, it became known that Russian security forces had opened a criminal case against Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, Estonian Secretary of State Taimar Peterkop, Lithuanian Minister of Culture Simonas Kairys, and members of the Latvian Saeima. The reason for the criminal prosecution was the demolition of Soviet monuments.
