Case Description
In the occupied Belovodsk in the Luhansk region, the FSB of Russia for the Luhansk People's Republic detained 19-year-old local resident, Ukrainian citizen Ivan Semikoz. He was accused of financing terrorism. Date of Ukrainian's detention is unknown. According to the Russian investigation, in February 2024, Semikoz, using the mobile application "Oshchad24/7, made one monetary transfer to the account of "Azov, wishing to support them financially. During the investigation, the young man was placed in a pre-trial detention center. On January 28, 2025, the Southern District Military Court found Ivan Semikoz guilty and sentenced him to 8.5 years in prison, of which the first 2 years he must spend in prison, and the remaining years in a strict regime colony. On October 2, 2025, the Appellate Military Court left the sentence unchanged.
