In February 2023, security forces came to search the resident of Chita, Ivan Losev. He was accused of repeated "discrediting of the Russian army" and sent to a pre-trial detention center. On May 22, the court changed Losev's measure of restraint to a ban on certain actions. Earlier, Losev had already been fined twice for a total of 30 thousand rubles and twice for 35 thousand rubles due to posts about a dream in which Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky featured, as well as interviews in which he told about the fine for retelling this dream. On May 22, 2023, the Central District Court of Chita found Ivan Losev guilty and sentenced him to a fine of 150 thousand. rubles.
