Case Description
In Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast, a criminal case was opened for public calls to carry out extremist activities against local resident Ivan Kozharsky, 43." 2. The date of his detention is unknown. According to the investigation, on 3 March 2022, Kozharsky posted a comment in an open Telegram channel containing calls for violence and the murder of police officers. The examination recognized the statement as extremist and aimed at inciting hatred against law enforcement officers. There is no information about the measure of restraint. June 30, 2025, Cherepovets City Court found Ivan Kozharsky guilty and sentenced him to 1 year of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of 6 months. Also, the court ordered to confiscate a mobile phone, from which he wrote a comment, to the state revenue. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
