Case Description
1. In early November 2024, Iskander Kadenov, a 30-year-old local resident, was detained in St. Petersburg. A criminal case was initiated against him for public calls for terrorism. Details of the charges are unknown. On November 2, 2024, the Primorsky District Court of St. Petersburg chose detention as a preventive measure for the case's defendant. On May 30, 2025, the 1st Western Military District Court found Iskander Kadenov guilty and sentenced him to 2.5 years in a general regime penal colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
