Vinogradov Ilya Andreevich

On August 10, 2022, in Krasnoyarsk, SWAT officers detained anti-fascists Ilya Vinogradov, Daniil Ivanov, and the minor Denis Kzyrev. They were accused of committing an armed robbery at an apartment as part of a group.

According to investigators, the young men, armed with a knife and a pistol, broke into the apartment of a former acquaintance. Law enforcement officials also claimed that Vinogradov and Ivanov opposed the special military operation, painted anti-war graffiti, and planned to set fire to the military registration and enlistment office. The defense and the suspects’ relatives pointed out that they had come to retrieve anti-fascist items associated with their subculture, and that the case was initiated based on the results of monitoring correspondence on the social network “VKontakte,” rather than on a complaint filed by the victim. Ultimately, no charges related to terrorism or discrediting the army were brought against the defendants.

Vinogradov and Ivanov were held in a pretrial detention center until April 19, 2023, after which they were placed under house arrest. With regard to Kozyrev, the investigation imposed a preventive measure in the form of a written pledge not to leave the city.

On May 18, 2023, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnoyarsk found the defendants guilty and sentenced Ilya Vinogradov and Daniil Ivanov to five years of suspended imprisonment with a four-year probationary period; The court sentenced Denis Kozyrev to 3 years and 6 months of imprisonment, suspended. The verdict was not appealed and has become final.
