Sharafullin Ilshat Maratovich

At the end of December 2023, it became known that Rosfinmonitoring added Ilshhat Sharafutdinov, a native of Naberezhnye Chelny, to the list of 'terrorists and extremists' as being involved in a terrorist crime. He was also put on the wanted list. It is unknown what specifically the criminal prosecution is related to. In 2020, Sharafutdin illegally crossed the border with Ukraine and requested political asylum. He lived in Sumy for a year and a half and waited for a decision on his status. Later he moved to Odessa. On February 26, 2022, two days after the invasion of Russian Armed Forces into Ukraine, he arrived in Kyiv and joined the ranks of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, wishing to participate in the battles against the Russians. He tried to enlist in the contract army of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, lived with one of our comrades in Kyiv. On September 2, he stopped communicating, and in the evening of September 6, he sent a message stating that he had been detained by the SBU and taken to the border with Moldova, where they were trying to deport him, but the Moldovan border guards refused to let him into Moldova.
