Case Description
In February 2023, in Yalta, annexed Crimea, FSB officers detained local resident Igor Ryzhov at the 'Sadovaya' public transport stop. According to the investigation, the resident of Yalta, being in a state of intoxication, shouted slogans discrediting the activities of the Russian army. A criminal case was opened against Ryolov for repeated "discrediting the army. It is unknown whether a preventive measure has been chosen. Earlier, in April and May 2022, Rylova was fined in a case of an administrative offense under the article on discrediting the Armed Forces. In the latter case, the reason was that on May 9 he allegedly shouted "Glory to Ukraine!", 3. Glory to the heroes! On March 15, 2023, the Yalta City Court of the Republic of Crimea found Igor Ryolov guilty and sentenced him to 1 year and 2 months of imprisonment suspended. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
