Case Description
In Kemerovo, a criminal case was opened against 51-year-old local resident Igor Patrakov for calls for extremism on the internet. The date the case was opened, details of the charges, and the chosen measure of restraint are unknown. Earlier, in November 2023, Patrakov was charged in a case involving an administrative offense under the article on displaying Nazi symbols due to a swastika made of crossed St. George ribbons published on VKontakte. June 24, 2024, the Central District Court of Kemerovo found Igor Patrakov guilty and sentenced him to one year and six months of imprisonment suspended with one and a half years of probation.
