Case Description
In Vladivostok, no later than March 17, 2022 (the exact date is unknown), Igor Bzhitsky, a native of Ukraine, was detained. A criminal case was opened against him for the destruction of other people's property by a dangerous method and inciting hatred or enmity with a threat of violence. According to the investigation, Bzhitsky set fire to his employer's car after the latter expressed support for Vladimir Putin and the war. Primorsky District Court of Vladivostok placed Bzhitsky in custody for the duration of the investigation. October 4, 2023, the Soviet District Court of Vladivostok found Igor Bzhitsky guilty and sentenced him to four years in a general regime colony. On December 13, 2023, the Primorsky Regional Court left the sentence in force.
