Case Description
In Ufa in October 2024, a criminal case was opened against a 39-year-old local resident, Guzel Nurislamova. She was accused of financing the activities of an "undesirable" organization. According to the investigation, Nurislamova, knowing that the Ukrainian religious organization "All-Ukrainian Spiritual Center "Renaissance" was recognized as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation, repeatedly made money transfers totaling 20,140 rubles 50 kopecks to support the activities of this organization. During the investigation, the defendant in the case was placed under a written undertaking not to leave and to behave properly. On November 19, 2024, the Ufa District Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan found Guzel Nurislamova guilty and sentenced her to 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment with a probationary period of 2 years. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
