Case Description
In Yoshkar-Ola, a criminal case was opened against a 22-year-old local resident, Gleb Kozhin, for attempted terrorism no later than January 2024. According to the investigation, the man, being drunk, poured gasoline on the door of the military enlistment office, but did not set it on fire. The date of Kozhin's detention is unknown. For the duration of the investigation, the young man was sent to a pre-trial detention center. On October 14, 2024, the Central Military District Court found Gleb Kozhin guilty and sentenced him to 13 years in a strict regime penal colony. On March 12, 2025, the Appellate Military Court left the verdict unchanged.
