Case Description
In the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd region, in April 2024, two 17-year-old local residents, Gleb Drobkov and Vyacheslav Turkevich, were detained. They were accused of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization. Turkevich was also accused of preparing for a terrorist attack, undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities, assisting terrorist activities, public calls for terrorism, illegal circulation of explosives and weapons, as well as in eight episodes of intentional damage to someone else's property. According to the security forces, Drobkov and Turkevich are members of the neo-Nazi movement NS/WP. Between March and November 2023, acting on instructions from Ukrainian curators, they damaged 16 vehicles, some of which had Z-symbolism, while others belonged to people from the North Caucasus and Central Asia. The teenagers allegedly planned to carry out an explosion at a police station, a local military enlistment office, catering establishments, and places of mass gathering of people. For this, they studied instructions for making explosives, bought components and assembled an improvised explosive device, which was glued with self-tapping screws to enhance the damaging effect. Also, according to the security forces, from March to November 2023, 'on the orders of Ukrainian curators,' the teenagers damaged 16 cars. Some of them had Z-symbolism. The FSB explained the attacks on other cars as xenophobia. The defendants in the case were sent into custody.
