Case Description
In the Samara region, no later than August 2023 (the exact date is unknown), a 32-year-old resident of the region was detained on charges of state treason. According to law enforcement, in spring and summer 2023, a man whose name has not been disclosed corresponded in a messenger with a representative of Ukrainian special services and "engaged in reconnaissance at railway stations Kinel and Bezymyanka. The curator instructed the man to monitor the movement of military echelons in the Samara region and send photos with comments, including about the number of military equipment. The FSB also published screenshots of correspondence between the detained person and the so-called 'curator'." 5.
