Case Description
In North Ossetia, at the end of June 2024, a criminal case was opened for justifying terrorism against 30-year-old Georgy Gagloyev, a resident of the stanitsa of Arkhyz. The reason for the criminal prosecution was a spoiled ballot in the presidential election in March 2024 - in the ballot, the Ossetian allegedly drew a hanged man and wrote: "glory to Ukraine" and the word "h***o" in the column with Putin's name." According to the security forces, by spoiling the ballot, Georgy allegedly called on an 'indefinite circle of persons' to hang Putin and forcibly change the government 'in favor of Ukraine's interests.' It is unknown whether a preventive measure has been chosen.
