Case Description
In Bakhmut, in the occupied part of the Donetsk region, a local resident, Ukrainian citizen Gennady Maltsev, was detained. He was accused of committing sabotage and illegal possession of weapons and explosives or explosive devices. Details of the charges and the date of detention are unknown. The man was placed in a pre-trial detention center. On January 22, 2025, the Southern Military District Court found Gennady Maltsev guilty and sentenced him to 20 years of imprisonment in a strict regime colony and an unknown prison term."
