Case Description
15-year-old Gavril Borgoyakov, 16-year-old Maxim Kadymaev, 14-year-old Aymir Yukteshev, and 16-year-old Viktoriya Kicheeva were detained in Khakassia in May 2024. They were accused of committing a terrorist act by a group of persons, attempted terrorist act, and aiding terrorist activities. According to the investigation, in May 2024, the young men "on the orders of another person" set fire to two relay cabinets on the railway between the village of Askiz and the Chartikovsky station. The damage amounted to 55 thousand. rubles. In addition, two of them tried to set fire to a diesel locomotive worth more than 40 million. rubles at one of the railway enterprises, however, their actions were thwarted by law enforcement officers. It is not specified how they tried to commit arson and whether another person was identified, on whose orders they acted. There is no information about the measure of restraint. On November 25, 2025, the 2nd Eastern Military District Court found all four guilty and sentenced the minors Aimir Yukechev and Gavril Borgoyakov to 6 and 7 years in a juvenile correctional colony, while Victoria Kicheeva and Maxim Kadymaev were sentenced to 6 years in a general regime colony each.
