Case Description
In Yakutia, no later than October 2024, a criminal case was opened against local resident Galina Almaastaakh for publicly inciting terrorism. The details of the charges are unknown.
On January 14, 2025, the defendant was remanded in custody.
On May 27, 2025, the 1st Eastern District Military Court found Galina Almaastaakh guilty and sentenced her to seven years in a general-regime prison.
On September 8, 2025, the Military Court of Appeals upheld the sentence.
