Case Description
In Rostov-on-Don in December 2020, a criminal case was opened for justifying terrorism against 55-year-old local resident Yevgenia Tkach. According to the investigation, in May 2020, using a mobile phone, she posted comments on social networks justifying terrorism. The comments were related to the terrorist attack at the FSB building in Arkhangelsk in October 2018. It is unknown whether a preventive measure has been chosen. In August 2021, the Southern Military District Court released Evgeniya Tkach from criminal liability and ordered that compulsory medical measures be applied to her. It is unknown whether the court's decision will be appealed.
