Zhukov Evgeniy Alekseevich

In Kurgan, no later than February 2023, a criminal case was opened for justifying terrorism and "fakes" about the Russian army against former coordinator of the Kurgan branch of "Agit Rossii" Yevgeny Zhukov. It is unknown what exactly became the reason for the criminal prosecution. On February 10, 2023, the Investigative Department for Kurgan of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kurgan Region declared the activist wanted. In May 2021, Zhukov left Russia after pressure from police officers and the E Center. According to Zhukov, on April 30, police officers came to his house and took him to the military enlistment office, confiscating his military ID. The activist was threatened with conscription into the army, as well as a case under the "Dadin article" for installing a tombstone for Putin or under an extremist article for activities in "Agit Rossii" from 2018 to 2020. In June 2021, the Agit Rossiya project announced its closure.
