Case Description
On April 10, 2023, in the village of Tavolzhanka in the Kupyansk district of the occupied Kharkiv region, Russian soldiers came to the home of a local 64-year-old resident, Ukrainian citizen Nikolai Savke. The military entered the yard when he was doing household chores, ordered him to take his passport and go with them to the car, after which the Ukrainian and his nephew Yevgeny Savka were taken away in an unknown direction. According to unconfirmed reports, Nikolai and Yevgeny Savka may be held incommunicado on the territory of IK-10 in the Republic of Mordovia as civilian hostages, without being charged with a crime.
