В Ялте в аннексированном Крыму возбудили уголовное дело о государственной измене против местного жителя Евгения Омельченко. Дата его задержания и подробности обвинения неизвестны.
3 июня 2024 года Южный окружной военный суд признал Евгения Омельченко виновным и приговорил его к 12,5 годам лишения свободы в колонии строгого режима. Приговор не был обжалован и вступил в законную силу.
