On July 29, 2022, in Moscow, three associates of Vladimir Vorontsov, the creator of the 'Police Ombudsman' project - Irina Andina, Yevgeny Moiseev, and Vasily Fedorov - were arrested in a case involving a false report. They made the film "Save the Police Ombudsman, which was about the case against Vorontsov, who was detained and accused of extortion, distribution of pornography, defamation, and public insult of a government official. The authors of the film believe that the case against Vorontsov was fabricated. The former operative of the Center "E" Vladimir Vorontsov served in the police for 13 years and retired in 2017, shortly after the launch of the "Police Ombudsman" community on VKontakte." In this public he published stories of security officials about violations in service. In May 2020, Vorontsova was detained. In August 2022 he was sentenced to five years in a general regime colony. On October 3, 2023, the Tverskoi District Court of Moscow found Vasily Fyodorov, Evgeny Moiseev, and Irina Andina guilty. Former policemen Moiseev and Fedorov were sentenced to four years in prison each, and Andinaya to three years in prison.
