Case Description

He was accused of improper influence on critical information infrastructure of the Russian Federation. According to the investigation, he "supported the Kyiv regime" and joined a group of hackers who carried out DDoS attacks on the websites of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the President of Russia. It is unknown whether a preventive measure has been chosen. On February 3, 2023, the Sovetsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don found Yevgeny Kotikov guilty and sentenced him to 3 years of imprisonment conditionally with a probation period of 3 years and a fine of 800 thousand rubles. rubles.
