In Ivanovo, in July 2025, a 39-year-old local resident, Yevgeny Evdokimov, was detained. He was charged with incitement to terrorism.
According to the investigation, Evdokimov opposed the 'special military operation' and supported the formations of the 'Freedom of Russia Legion' and the 'Russian Volunteer Corps' (RDC), both designated as terrorist organizations. The man posted 15 comments under various video recordings online, in which he approved of their ideology, and also published five messages calling on Ukrainian military personnel to carry out terrorist attacks in Russia.
The October District Court of Ivanovo remanded the man in custody.
