В станице Варениковской Крымского района Краснодарского края не позднее мая 2025 года задержали уроженца Казахстана Евгения Бутко. Его обвинили в государственной измене, в содействии террористической деятельности, а также в публичном оправдании терроризма. Подробности обвинения неизвестны.
На время следствия фигуранта дела поместили в СИЗО.
