Case Description
In February 2023, security forces came to search the 46-year-old blogger Yevgeny Brigida in the village of Glyaden, Krasnoyarsk Territory. A criminal case was opened against him on charges of calling for extremism on the Internet. The reason for the criminal prosecution was a video against mobilization titled "Goat Provocateurs", which Brigida published on VKontakte. In the video, the man sharply speaks out about representatives of the military enlistment office who tried to take his son to war. Similar words about the military commissar of Nazarovo, who became famous for his statement that everyone would be taken to war, were also said by propagandist Vladimir Solovyov. On September 24, 2024, the Nazarovo City Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory found Yevgeny Brigida guilty and sentenced him to 2 years of probation with a probationary period of 1 year and 8 months and a ban on administering websites for the same period.
