Case Description
On May 5, 2024, 21-year-old native of Bashkortostan Ernest Sharafutdinov was detained in Krasnodar Krai. For seven months after that, the young man was 'carouseled' into administrative arrests on fabricated protocols for administrative offenses. Family members were not allowed to contact him, they considered him missing. Only on November 12, 2024, he was officially detained and placed in custody on charges of treason. The details of the charges are unknown. August 4, 2025, the Krasnodar Regional Court found Ernest Sharafutdinov guilty, the size of the punishment is unknown.
