Case Description
On May 25, 2025, in Tbilisi, 34-year-old Georgian citizen, singer and actor Erekle Getadze crumpled a Russian flag and threw it into a bag at the Tbilisi Open Air festival. Then he pretended to urinate on the tricolor flag. Some viewers began to applaud him. Getsadze reposted a video on Instagram and published it on Facebook. Based on this incident, Bastrykin ordered to initiate a criminal case for desecration of the state flag of the Russian Federation.
