While transporting him, they "strangled him until he lost consciousness and beat him. After the hospital, Kamolov was taken to Saint Petersburg, where he was interrogated and beaten along the way. Somewhere they stopped, took him out into the street, beat him up, then started shocking him 'on the nipples and balls' - first for a minute, then increased it to 3 minutes, the longest was 5 minutes. Electrocuted for about half an hour. When they started approaching the city, they began threatening that if he told anyone about the torture, they would come to him in the detention center and rape and kill him. Kamalova was accused of treason. Details of his case are classified. The court sent the man into custody. 5 October 2023, the 2nd Western Military Court found Elnar Kamalov guilty and sentenced him to 12.5 years in a strict regime colony.
