Case Description
17 July 2024, in the city of Elektrougli in the Moscow region, 20-year-old local resident and Moscow college student Elena Kireeva came to the service parking lot on the territory of the Elektrougli police department of the MU MVD of Russia "Noginsk", took out a bottle with an incendiary mixture and placed it on the windshield of a service vehicle, after which she set it on fire. No one was injured in the fire - there was no one inside, the fire only damaged the hood and dashboard. The girl was immediately detained. During the search, her phone, clothes, and a canister were confiscated. During the interrogation, the girl reported that she had become a victim of fraudsters. A criminal case was opened against her for a terrorist attack committed by a group of persons, resulting in significant damage. Before the election of a preventive measure, Kireev was placed in a temporary detention center. On July 22, 2024, the Noginsk City Court of the Moscow Region placed the girl under house arrest.
