Case Description
On August 27, 2025, in Berezniki, Perm Krai, lawyer Denis Fayzulin, his wife, civil activist Irina, and activist Elena Guseva were detained. Denis was later released, while Irina and Elena were escorted to Perm and placed in a temporary detention facility. A criminal case was opened against the activists for financing extremism. Charges were brought against him for donating to Alexei Navalny's Anti-Corruption Foundation. Irina was charged with seven payments of 300 rubles each. Payments allegedly arrived after the FBK was recognized as an extremist organization. On August 28, 2025, the Leninskiy District Court of Perm, in a closed session, chose detention as a preventive measure for both women." October 14, 2025, the court changed her measure of restraint to house arrest.
