Case Description
In Samara on November 22, 2023, local resident Elena Guryaleva was detained. she was walking her dog and on the way back near the entrance to her house unknown people approached her and put handcuffs on her. A search was already underway in the apartment. On November 23, she was taken to Yekaterinburg by plane under escort. On November 24, the court sent the woman to SIZO. Guryleva was accused of treason. According to the FSB, the woman was persuading Russian military personnel to switch to the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. On April 22, 2024, Gurylov was sent by convoy to Izhevsk, Kazan, Syzran. On May 3, he was brought to Samara. On July 1, 2024, Gurylyov was sentenced to nine years and nine months in prison.
