Case Description
In Moscow, at Vnukovo Airport on September 21, 2025, a 40-year-old native of Pyatigorsk, Stavropol Krai, Ekaterina Sergeeva, was detained. She was taken to the police station, where an administrative offense report was drawn up under the article on petty hooliganism. According to police reports, the woman, while intoxicated in the arrivals hall on the first floor near a duty-free shop, 'used profanity without addressing anyone, shouted loudly, waved her arms, and behaved aggressively.'
The next day, September 22, Judge Elena Zhalybina of the Solntsevsky District Court of Moscow arrested Gukaeva for 15 days.
After the initial administrative arrest, the woman was held under illegal 'carousel' arrests for over 200 days. At the end of April, she was charged with confidential cooperation with a foreign state to the detriment of the Russian Federation; details of the charges are unknown.
On April 30, 2026, the court placed the suspect in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center.
