Case Description
On December 25, 2024, in Krasnoyarsk, 22-year-old local resident Ekaterina Yevstigneyeva set fire to a gas station on Popov Street. She threw bottles with an incendiary mixture into the column, a fire broke out. Firefighters from the gas station put out the fire, no one was hurt. The girl was filming what was happening on her mobile phone. She was detained by the police. At the interrogation, the girl said that she had become a victim of fraudsters." 5. A criminal case was initiated against a resident of Krasnoyarsk for attempted intentional destruction and damage to someone else's property, committed out of hooligan motives, by arson, in a generally dangerous manner. The court placed the girl in custody. On May 20, 2025, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnoyarsk found Ekaterina Yevstigneyeva guilty and sentenced her to one year of imprisonment with a probationary period of two years.
