According to the special services, an attempt at a terrorist attack was thwarted on one of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet - a recruited serviceman of the Russian Navy allegedly planned to carry out an explosion. At that time, there was talk of opening a case not only about treason, but also about preparing a terrorist attack and illegal trafficking in explosives. On September 29, 2023, the 2nd Western District Military Court found Igor Tyukin guilty and sentenced him to 16 years in a strict regime colony. On January 17, 2024, the Appellate Military Court upheld the verdict.
