Case Description
In Novosibirsk in the summer of 2024, a 20-year-old serviceman, Corporal Egor Shishkin, was detained. He was accused of treason and sabotage. According to the security forces, Shishkin, out of selfish motives, agreed to the offer of "curators from Ukraine" and set fire to three cellular towers in Novosibirsk. For this, he was promised 56 thousand. rubles. The defendant in the case was placed in the SIZO. November 12, 2025, the 2nd Eastern Military District Court found Egor Shishkin guilty and sentenced him to 20 years in prison, as well as stripped him of his military rank. For the first 5 years, he must serve in prison, and the remaining part of the sentence - in a strict regime correctional colony.
