Semyonov Egor Igorevich

On October 22, 2023, a 33-year-old resident of Khimki in the Moscow region, a native of Melitopol, Egor Semyonov, was detained at the airport in Armavir, Krasnodar Krai. On October 23, Judge Natalia Anokhina of the Armavir City Court of the Krasnodar Territory sent Semyonov to administrative arrest for 15 days. On the same day, information began to appear in the media that a criminal case had been opened against Egor Semyonov for a terrorist attack against graduates of the Armavir Military Aviation Institute. On July 7, 2022, the Khimki City Court of the Moscow Region decided to return the case materials to the prosecutor, ruling that Sivokhin should be charged with a more serious offense—preparation for a terrorist act and participation in an extremist organization. The pilots were unable to identify the sender of the gift, so they did not try the treat and reported the situation to the FSB. The investigation suggests that the cake was poisoned on the orders of Ukrainian special services. Allegedly, Semyonov, as part of a group that included employees of Ukrainian state bodies, purchased at least 200 vials of the medical drug "Kordiamin" solution, 76 bottles with Jameson whiskey labels, 40 bottles with "Kochari" cognac labels, and a cake. Using a syringe, he injected the drug into the food and delivered it to the restaurant in order to poison the graduates of the Armavir Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots. Semenov was accused of treason and attempted terrorist attack using toxic substances. The court sent him to a pre-trial detention center. On April 29, 2025, the Southern District Military Court found Egor Semenov guilty and sentenced him to 27 years in a strict regime penal colony, with the first 5 years to be served in prison. September 30, 2025, the Appellate Military Court toughened the sentence and sentenced Semyonov to life imprisonment in a strict regime colony."
