Case Description
A criminal case was initiated against serviceman Egor Getmanchev in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk for refusing to participate in military or combat operations. The exact date of the case being opened and the chosen measure of restraint are unknown. According to the investigation, Getmantsev, on January 13, 2024, on the territory of a military unit stationed in the Sakhalin region, fearing for his health and life, in the presence of fellow servicemen, refused to carry out an order given to him in the established manner by the commander of the military unit to depart for the zone of the SVO to participate in combat operations. On May 16, 2024, the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Garrison Military Court found Egor Getmantsev guilty and sentenced him to 2 years and 8 months in a general regime colony.
