Case Description
On September 5, 2022, in Nakhodka, a search was conducted at the home of 65-year-old former history teacher Dolita Sinitsyna. A criminal case was opened against her under the article on calls for extremism using the Internet. The reason was posts and comments in "Odnoklassniki. The expert examination appointed by the investigation considered that her publications on 'Odnoklassniki' 'Death to fascist occupiers!!!' and 'Russia is a fascist state' incite violence against Russian military personnel. FSB officers confiscated a computer, router, and phone from the pensioner. As a preventive measure, Sinitsyna was assigned a ban on certain actions. On May 25, 2023, Judge Maksim Kiselev of the Nakhodka City Court of Primorsky Krai sentenced Dolita Sinitsyna to one and a half years in a penal colony-settlement. On July 25, 2023, the Primorsky Regional Court upheld the verdict.
