Case Description
1. In Perm in April 2023, a criminal case was opened for justifying terrorism and public calls for activities aimed against state security against 21-year-old local resident Dmitry Tomilin. According to the investigation, the young man published several posts in a Telegram group calling for demonstrations. During the investigation, the man was placed under a written undertaking not to leave. On June 4, 2024, the Central Military District Court found Dmitry Tomilin guilty and sentenced him to 7 years in a general regime colony. He was taken into custody in the courtroom. On August 25, 2025, the Appellate Military Court changed the verdict, details are unknown.
