Case Description
On April 16, 2024, Dmitry Sukharevskii, a 44-year-old local resident and citizen of Ukraine, was detained in Stanichno-Lugansk district. He was accused of participating in a terrorist community. According to the version of Russian law enforcement agencies, in October 2014, Sukharevsky voluntarily joined the ranks of the Aidar Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, recognized in Russia as a terrorist organization. The Ukrainian "took part in hostilities against the civilian population and the Russian Armed Forces on the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic."
