Case Description
In the Republic of Tyva, a criminal case was opened for financing extremist activities against local resident Dmitry Murachev. The date of his detention is unknown. According to the investigation, Murachev, due to disagreement with the current political course and corruption in the country in the period from 2021 to 2022, after watching a video about the possible corrupt life on the Internet, transferred money to the "Anti-Corruption Foundation" of Alexei Navalny, recognized as extremist in Russia. There is no information about the measure of restraint. On December 1, 2025, the Kaakhemsky District Court of the Republic of Tyva found Dmitry Murachev guilty and sentenced him to 3 years of imprisonment conditionally with a probation period of 3 years.
