Case Description
In the fall of 2022, local resident Dmitry Kulikov was detained in Vladivostok. According to the investigation, Dmitry allegedly passed photographs of the thermal power plant (TPP) to Ukrainian intelligence. Dmitry spoke out against the war in Ukraine and the current authorities in Russia. Following a search, Dmitry Kulikov was detained under the article on treason and sent to a pre-trial detention center. February 6, 2024, the Primorsky Regional Court found Dmitry Kulikov guilty and sentenced him to 12 years in a strict regime colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
