Case Description
In May 2022, Dmitry Kozlyu was fined 45 thousand rubles under the article on discrediting the army. The man was charged with a comment about Russian soldiers on Facebook. The decision on the fine came into force on June 11 of the same year. It is unknown what exactly became the reason for initiating a criminal case under the article on "discrediting the army. On October 19, 2023, the Kievsky District Court of Simferopol sentenced Dmitry Kozly to one year in a general regime colony. On December 5, 2023, the 'Supreme Court of Crimea' upheld the sentence.
