Case Description
On January 18, 2023, Dmitry Kiselev, a 22-year-old native of Ukraine, was detained in the village of Uspenka, Krasnoyarsk Territory. According to the security forces, Kiselev, through the Internet on his own initiative, established contact with employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and received from them an assignment to photograph infrastructure facilities in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as well as an assignment to set fire to and blow up railway facilities in the region. In addition, the investigation claims that Kiselev collected and transmitted to the SBU information about the location of Russian troops in the city of Khartsyzsk, Donetsk Oblast, where he himself previously lived. During the examination of his phone, operatives allegedly discovered several chats. In one, Dmitry, under the nickname "Mamkolyub2000," communicated with a certain Oleg Rachko. To him, he passed on information about mobilized individuals who might be in one of the buildings in the city of Khartsyzsk, Donetsk Oblast. The man was also a member of a chat with a certain "Vasilisa Olehivna." He told her where enriched uranium could be obtained in Russia, as well as about the shortcomings of the Krasnoyarsk GRES-2. For example, how to get to it to blow up a power line support. Kiselev was accused of preparing for sabotage. Later, the charge of treason was added. By decision of the Central District Court of Krasnoyarsk, he was placed in a pre-trial detention center for the duration of the investigation. On January 19, 2024, the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court found Dmitry Kiselev guilty and sentenced him to 13 years of imprisonment to be served in a strict regime correctional colony. The verdict was not appealed and entered into force.
