Case Description
In the occupied Luhansk, no later than June 2024, 31-year-old resident, citizen of Ukraine Dmitry Arutyunyan, was detained. He was accused of calling for terrorism. According to the Russian investigation, in March 2022 and November 2023, Arutyunyan posted comments in several online communities about the need to collect information on the movement and deployment locations of Russian servicemen to assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as comments containing justification of terrorism and calls for terrorist activities. On 30 August 2024, Artem Shalayev, a judge of the Southern District Military Court, found Dmitry Arutyunyan guilty, the size of the punishment is unknown. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
