Case Description
On December 30, 2025, 37-year-old Denis Vashchuk was detained in Moscow. A protocol on an administrative offense under the article on petty hooliganism was drawn up against him. According to the police version, Vashchuk was disturbing public order and using obscene language on Izumrudnaya Street. On the same day, Judge Lyudmila Voronina of the Babushkinsky District Court of Moscow sentenced the man to 15 days of administrative arrest." On January 12, 2026, while Voronin was serving an administrative arrest, a criminal case was initiated against him for assisting terrorist activities. The details of the charges are unknown. 13 January 2026, the man was taken out of the detention center and brought to the Ostankino District Court of Moscow, which chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention.
