Case Description
In Krasnoyarsk, a criminal case for justifying terrorism was opened against 41-year-old local resident Denis Ruzayev no later than November 2023 (the exact date is unknown). According to the investigation, Ruzayev posted text publications on the social network VKontakte containing "public calls for the commission of terrorist activities, public justification and propaganda of terrorism, available for public viewing and copying by an unlimited number of persons, with the aim of destabilizing the activities of government bodies." 3. The chosen measure of restraint is unknown. On March 27, 2024, the 2nd Eastern Military District Court found Denis Ruzaev guilty and sentenced him to 2 years and 6 months in a general regime colony with a ban on engaging in activities related to website administration for 2 years. The verdict was not appealed and entered into legal force.
